| Rena Steinmetz |
Rena Steinmetz is the founder of Reina Rena Laser Clinic for Body Hair and Beautiful Skin. From adolescence, through college, and during two pregnancies, Rena always demonstrated her sense of fashion and propensity towards cutting edge beauty trends. Rena learned early on that a well balanced diet and proper skin care helped her feel good about herself.
She graduated from University of Maryland in 1994 with a BA in Hearing and Speech Sciences and received a master's in Education of the Hearing Impaired several years later. She taught children with cochlear implants speech and language, as well as auditory training at The Atlanta Speech School in Atlanta, GA before moving to Orlando in 1998.
The great satisfaction she received from helping children extends beyond the classroom, as Rena enjoys brightening adults’ lives as well. Looking for a way to combine her desire to help others with her innate aesthetic talents, Rena opened Reina Rena in 2004; a place where excellent service and quality would certainly make her clients feel at their very best.
People often ask how the name Reina Rena was chosen - it goes back to Rena’s childhood when a friend called her Reina (meaning queen). So, Reina Rena (Queen Rena) was born! Hopefully everyone leaves Reina Rena feeling like a queen (or king).
Rena is married to Dr. Matthew Steinmetz, the on-site chiropractor. They have two children, Kayla and Reid, who attend Park Maitland School in Winter Park. Rena is also a true animal lover, as her family owns two boxers named Bruiser and Harley, a cat named Samantha, a gecko named Legend, and a pony named HighLite.
